Well here it is December 1st 2008. I’ve had this blog for over a year now, and I haven’t been very good at keeping it updated. I apologize for that. My excuse? in a word LAZINESS. Pure and simple, I am very lazy when it comes to sharing my thoughts in print. Very amusing considering that normally, I speak my mind at the drop of a hat, yet when it comes to taking the time to actually type it and share with others….NADA, ZILCH, ZERO.
I know that the new year is not here yet physically, but I promise that I will try to talk/type/share with everyone that still reads this little corner of the web on a more regular basis.
As there are now only 24 days until CHRISTMAS, I guess it’s time for all of us to kick it up a notch and get into the preparations of the season. That means not only in getting gifts for family and friends, but also to prepare our hearts and minds for the arrival of the blessings in our lives that come with remembering the birth of Christ.
That’s all that is on my mind and the moment. More to share later…..
Blessed Advent Fr. Chuck! Good to hear from you again! I check in often to see what you may be up to, and just assume you are a busy man! Hope all is well with you and your health is continueing to improve. This year I have decided to spen less time worrying avout the meaninglessness (is this a word?) of the season, and to reflect more on the TRUE meaning of this wonderful time of year. I really feel less stressed! Everything seems to fall right into place. If things don’t get done today, I’ll do them tomorrow. Take care and hope to hear from you soon!!
